    • The Canada Foundation for Innovation provides part of the funding for the Research Centre on Aging's Metabolic Unit. The unit also hosts the work carried out by the Canada Research Chair in Exercise Recommendations for Healthy Aging. This research includes various studies on how nutrition and physical activity impacts on health and the physical capacities of the elderly.
