Dr. Guy Lacombe Becomes CDRV's 48th Researcher

A research associate for many years, Neuropsychiatrist and Geriatrician Guy Lacombe has joined the Research Centre on Aging of the CIUSSS de l'Estrie-CHUS and become its 49th active researcher. He will be working for the Centre's clinical axis.

Dr. Guy Lacombe is a full professor in the department of medicine and geriatrics of the faculty of medicine and health sciences at the Université de Sherbrooke. He is a specialist in neuro-degenerative diseases, notably Alzheimer's. In 2012, he was the director of the first Québec symposium on Alzheimer's disease.

 He is a member of the Clinical and Biopharmaceutical Research Unit of the Research Centre on Aging and also develops research projects in pharmaceutical and cognitive research, pedagogy, and modalities of care. He works with the memory clinic as well.
