$36.6 Million for AGE-WELL

Five researchers at the CSSS-IUGS's Research Centre on Aging (CdRV) who are members of the Canadian excellence network AGE-WELL have a good reason to be pleased: The Network has just received a $36.6-million grant over the next five years. AGE-WELL is a pioneering research network which focuses on technology and aging, bringing together researchers from across Canada interested in gerontechnology to help support independent living among older adults. Five researchers at the CdRV belong to this network - professors Hélène Pigot, Sylvain Giroux, Dominique Lorrain, Manon Guay, and Michel Tousignant. Thanks to this funding, the researchers will be able to develop technologies which will allow older Canadians to live more safely and independently.
